Recently, Jinko ESS, a global leading energy storage solutions provider, is pleased to announce a collaboration with Zhejiang Jiayao Electric Engineering Co., Ltd., signing a supply agreement to provide 26 sets of C&I energy storage systems, totaling a capacity of 5.59 MWh. This project will operate under a peak-shaving and valley-filling model, which involves storing electricity during low-demand periods and releasing it during peak demand, thereby optimizing energy efficiency and reducing electricity costs.
During discussions, Zhejiang Jiayao expressed high praise for Jinko ESS’s brand strength, stating their preference for collaborating with top-tier brands. This recognition not only highlights Jinko’s leading position in the industry but also solidifies the partnership between the two companies.
Jinko ESS's SunGiga energy storage system is designed to meet the high efficiency and reliability needs of commercial customers. Each system integrates an advanced Power Conversion System (PCS) and high-performance Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) batteries, ensuring long life and safety. Customers are particularly concerned with the profitability, safety, integration, and operation and maintenance (O&M) costs of energy storage systems. The SunGiga, designed for the mainstream market with a capacity of 215 kWh, can be used for both 2-hour and 4-hour charge and discharge applications. SunGiga systems are pre-commissioned and pre-installed, with all parameters set before leaving the production facility, thereby reducing on-site commissioning time and ensuring early returns for project owners.
This partnership not only showcases Jinko ESS’s competitiveness in the commercial energy storage market but also provides Zhejiang Jiayao Electric Engineering Co., Ltd. with an efficient and reliable energy storage solution. Jinko ESS remains committed to technological innovation and market expansion to meet the growing demand for renewable energy and storage solutions, contributing to a sustainable future.
