SHANGHAI, June 22, 2017 -- JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. ("JinkoSolar" or the "Company"), a global leader in the photovoltaic (PV) industry, today announced that it will supply 38.4 MW of PV modules to Fuji Electric Co., Ltd., for use in a solar plant in Tomakomai, on the southern Japanese island of Hokkaido. Under the terms of the agreement, JinkoSolar will deliver its high efficiency solar modules from July to November in 2017 for a solar power plant in Hokkaido. This project includes a 10MWh sophisticated energy storage system, which will help adjust to variable load. This power plant is expected to be connected to the grid in 2018 and will enjoy a feed-in tariff (FIT) rate of ¥40 /kWh. This solar plant is funded via Tokumei Kumiai investments by Japanese institutional investors, Aquila Capital from Germany and Green Power Development Corporation of Japan.
