JinkoSolar Unveils 10-Year Product Warranty for Quantum-1 Modules Module provider strengthens bankability with extended coverage SHANGHAI, August 15, 2011 - JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. (“the company") (NYSE: JKS), a fast-growing, vertically integrated solar power product manufacturer headquartered in China, has extended its workmanship warranty on its Quantum-1 solar modules. Effective immediately, Quantum-1 modules will be covered for a period of 10 years, a significant increase on the industry standard five-year policy. The new warranty complements JinkoSolar’s 25-year peak power warranty, namely, a 90% performance warranty for the first 12 years and 80% for the remainder of the warranty period. JinkoSolar’s Quantum-1 modules are produced using pseudo-mono multi-crystalline cells, achieving the benefits of both mono- and multi-crystalline cells and operating at higher efficiencies while maintaining JinkoSolar’s competitive manufacturing costs and long-lasting power performance. The Quantum-1 modules, with an array of 60 solar cells, can perform up to 250Wp. JinkoSolar also offers its customers the option for a positive tolerance of up to 0-3% in addition to an optional Linear Performance Warranty. “Consumers and installers are making a considerable commitment when installing a PV system, and we want to do everything we can to assure them that JinkoSolar’s Quantum-1 modules are a secure investment now and in the future. It definitely helps recognition and support from our bank partners, which backs up their financing decisions for Jinko modules both in Europe and in the USA.” said Arturo Herrero, Chief Marketing Officer of JinkoSolar. “We take great pride in our product quality, controlled through our vertically integrated production process from the ingot, wafer and cell levels down to our modules. We are confident that our modules will perform optimally over the lifetime of a system, and we are ready to extend our warranty terms to provide an extra safeguard for our valued customers. To address any remaining concerns, we also offer a third-party insurance policy through PowerGuard Specialty Insurance Services,” added Mr. Herrero.
